Corporate guests run amok at Celtic Manor Resort
The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales is licking its wounds after a group of corporate guests reportedly ran amok at an awards party last week.
According to the Sunday Mirror, during the course of the drink fuelled evening, two married managers had be dragged apart by security staff as they simulated sex in the lobby, while other senior executives urinated in lifts and stairways.
Another worker was so drunk that hotel staff had to put him in a wheelchair to get him to his room, the newspaper reported.
Police called to the hotel in the early hours of Friday made one arrest.
A spokesman for the hotel confirmed there were "incidents" there on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
He would not comment on how much damage there was to the hotel, but said: "The incident has been dealt with and I can't comment further as this would break the confidentiality agreement we have with our clients.
Sainsbury's has launched an investigation into the reports, and vowed to take "appropriate action" against staff, where necessary.
