New head of Elior's concessions division
Adam Elliott has been named as divisional director for concessions at contract caterer Elior.
Elliott was previously managing director of Azure, Elior's stadium catering business.
A career in hospitality stretching 25 years has seen him work as retail director on the Tesco contract for Elior (then Avenance), as operations director for Noble House Leisure and head of food operations at J Sainsbury's Restaurants.
Elliott said: "This role presents a fantastic challenge and opportunity and one I relish."
Elior has shaken up its UK operations recently with the creation of a dedicated facilities management division alongside concessions and contract management.
In addition to Azure, Elior's concessions division includes Tesco, House of Fraser, Venue-Elior and the Digby Trout Restaurants business, the latter of which managing director Nigel Hutson recently quit.
Hutson said last month that although his position had been made redundant he had been offered the divisional director role at concessions but was keen to explore alternatives outside the business.
However, Elior refutes this and said Hutson was not offered Elliott's role.
