The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 1 July, 2007

London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 14.7% in the week ending 1 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar increased to £148.90, up from £129.81 during the equivalent week of 2006.

Although occupancy dropped by 0.2 percentage points to 91.6%, this was counteracted by a 14.9% hike in average room rate to £162.51, compared with £141.39 in the corresponding week of 2006.
