Jerry Brand’s Host Contract Management is beefing up its management structure as it heads towards 100 sites.

The contract caterer, which has this month secured East Sussex Fire & Rescue training centre in Maresfield, East Sussex as a client and petrol company Total’s headquarters in Watford, Hertfordshire, currently operates at 94 clients’ sites.

To boost its backroom infrastructure as it continues to grow, Host has recruited Douglas Wood as its first marketing & commercial manager.

Wood, who starts 1 September, was a regional operations manager for Compass owned school meals provider Scolarest.

From September, Host will also adopt a regional management structure with the company’s business divided into South, Midlands, North and Scotland.

As part of this shake-up Matthew Wade has joined Host from shopping centre caterer the Out of Town Group, where he was operations manager. Wade takes on the role of regional manager – North.

Host managing director Jerry Brand said: “We have restructured to allow our operators to retain their focus on customer service for our clients as we continue to develop."
