The Bench: Scottish hotel performance in April 2007

Hotel revenue per available room (revpar) grew by 4.1% in Scotland during the month of April.

Revpar was £53.73 in April 2007, up from £51.61 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Although occupancy fell by 0.3 percentage points to 75.5%, average room rate rose by 4.6% to £71.20, compared with £68.08 in April 2006.
