The Red Rose restaurant in the North Dorset town of Sturminster Newton has been renamed Saddlers by its new freehold owner.

The 40-seat restaurant in Market Cross is now owned by NOS 4, which bought the freehold through Goadsby for £190,000 with an existing tenancy already in place.

The property is let on a fully repairing and insuring lease for 12 years from April 2004.

“Although some of the outlying parts of Dorset can offer good value for money for investors, it is often difficult encouraging commercial investors outside of the well-trodden towns of the County,” commented Goadsby associate director Alastair Warwick-Smith.
