RBS to sell Hilton portfolio for £1.1b

Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) is reportedly poised to sell a £1.1b portfolio of mainly Hilton hotels to investor Jeremy Robson.

The move, reported in the Financial Times on Saturday, follows the group's £1.1b sale of 47 Marriott hotels in April.

Robson is the former head of principal finance at RBS and now runs his own investment group.

RBS declined to comment.
