The regional finalists for this year’s Young Chef Young Waiter Competition have been chosen.
New to 2007, the winning chef and waiter at each regional heat will be presented with a special prize to the value of £500, courtesy of the Savoy Educational Trust.
The chefs and waiters, who are all under the age of 24, will go on to compete at one of four regional heats:
- Adam Smith College in Fife on 11 September
- Darlington College on 12 September
- Birmingham College on 18 September
- Thames Valley University on 20 September.
The regional winners will then go forward to compete in the final at Westminster Kingsway on 15 October.
