The Bench: North-western hotel performance in April 2007

Hotels in the North-west of England saw revenue per available room (revpar) increase by 3.6% during the month of April.

Revpar was £55.10 in April 2007, up from £53.20 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Although occupancy slipped by 1.9 percentage points to 72.7% , average room rate rose by 6.3% to £75.75, compared with £71.23 in April 2006.
