The Olde Jack

The Olde Jack, a village pub at Calverhall, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire, has changed hands.

The new owners are Jeanette Miller in concert with her sister Joanne and her sister’s partner Gary.

The pub, which has excellent road links, is just five miles from Market Drayton and Whitchurch and half an hour’s drive from Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Located on a corner, the two-storey property can seat up to 100 customers in the 32-seat lounge bar with beamed ceiling and open fireplace, the adjoining 50- to 60-seat restaurant and the adjacent private patio.

Other facilities include a four-bedroom owners’ flat with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom; a staff bedroom with a bathroom and separate toilet; and a large car park.
