New owners for Shropshire pub(08 August 2007 15:00)The Olde Jack, a village pub at Calverhall, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire, has changed hands. The new owners are Jeanette Miller in concert with her sister Joanne and her sister’s partner Gary. The pub, which has excellent road links, is just five miles from Market Drayton and Whitchurch and half an hour’s drive from Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme. Other facilities include a four-bedroom owners’ flat with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom; a staff bedroom with a bathroom and separate toilet; and a large car park.
