PropertyLincolnshire restaurateur buys Cambridgeshire hotel(08 August 2007 15:08)A restaurateur from Lincolnshire who specialises in Oriental cuisine has bought a Cambridgeshire hotel with its own Indian restaurant. The Papworth hotel is a purpose-built, single-storey property in the town of Papworth Everard. It is made up off three main wings arranged in a triangle around an inner courtyard. Along with 20 en-suite bedrooms, the hotel offers a bar and a 50-seat Indian restaurant that doubles up as a breakfast room and function room. The Ipswich office of Christie + Co was seeking offers in excess of £900,000 for the freehold, which attracted more than 20 viewings. The new owner, Mr K Ting, plans to rebrand the Indian restaurant and upgrade the bedrooms. Article continues below
