Pied à Terre in talks about second venue

London's two-Michelin-starred restaurant Pied à Terre is poised to sign a deal to buy a second venue, Caterer has learnt.

The Charlotte Street restaurant's majority owner, David Moore, and his chef business partner, Shane Osborn, are in talks to buy another site in the capital, and are expected to complete the deal early next month.

While no details have been revealed, it is understood that a new chef will be installed to oversee the kitchen at the new eaterie.

Pied à Terre is currently involved in the BBC's latest cookery show, Grandad's Back In Business. Due to air this autumn, the series will feature a rookie chef and an older, wannabe-back-in-the-game chef competing against each other for a job in the restaurant's kitchen under the mentorship of Osborn.
