Trends & DataThe Bench: North-eastern hotel performance in April 2007(09 August 2007 11:52)Hotels in the North-east of England saw revenue per available room (revpar) drop by 1.4% during the month of April. Revpar was £49.09 in April 2007, down from £49.78 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench. Although occupancy fell by 3.7 percentage points to 71.3% , average room rate rose by 3.7% to £68.85, compared with £66.40 in April 2006. You can view the regional statistics PDF file here >>
