Hotel Cateys shortlists unveiled

The shortlist of nominations for the inaugural Hotel Cateys has been announced.

The awards, organised by Caterer, were launched alongside sister awards the Cateys earlier this year.

They are intended to allow hoteliers to celebrate the achievements of their staff and give them industry-wide recognition.

The Cateys have recognised and celebrated the hospitality industry's highest fliers and strongest performers for the past 24 years. This year's addition of the Hotel Cateys to the Caterer Group's portfolio of awards events will reward the unsung heroes of the hotel industry.

As with the Cateys, contenders for the Hotel Cateys have been nominated, selected and recognised by their industry peers.

The 2007 Hotel Cateys will be presented at an awards ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Tuesday 13 November.

Tickets will cost £140 per person or £1,200 for a table of 10. To book your place, go to www.hotelcateys.com to download a table booking form, or e-mail Sarah Barnes at sarah.barnes@rbi.co.uk.
