Everyman Cinema Club plans nationwide expansion(22 August 2007 07:00)Boutique cinema operator the Everyman Cinema Club is to expand nationwide with plans for 50 new sites in the pipeline over the next five-years. Everyman Cinema Club account director Bernice Dixon-Lines told Caterer the company was looking at a range of different development sites in town and shopping centres where regeneration is a big priority. “We’re looking at sites in affluent areas without multiplexes and are currently focusing on London and the South-east. We’re hoping to expand across the UK in the latter stages of the development.” Article continues below
She added: “Everyman is a concept that, if placed in the right location, will work incredibly well. “ The first Everyman Cinema Club venue is located in Hampstead Village in north London, with a second site already agreed under a 30-year lease in Hammersmith Grove. The new west London venue will be arranged over 20,000ft and will include a 3,000sq ft brasserie with al fresco dining area as well as four screening lounges and function rooms.
