A range of new cordials from Kerry Foodservice aims to provide caterers with an alternative to juices, cokes and lemonade to tap the expanding market for adult soft drinks, which grew by 26% between 2000 and 2004 to a value of £11b.

The low-risk, high-margin range, sold under the DaVinci Gourmet brand, includes Elderflower, Lemon and Ginger, and Pomegranate and Raspberry.

The cordials, which are simply mixed with still or sparkling water, are sold in cases of 6 x 750ml plastic bottles, with dispensing pumps available to ensure consistent servings.
