The most successful fundraiser in the history of the Scottish Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT Scotland) was held at Glasgow’s Radisson SAS hotel last Friday (7 September) which saw more than £45,000 raised for the charity.

More than 400 people from the Scottish hospitality industry gathered at the Radisson to attend a charity lunch followed by afternoon entertainment from Jonathan Ross’ in-house band four poofs and a piano as well as an evening set from XFM DJ Heather Suttie.

The event raised £46,450 for HIT Scotland and all monies raised will be used to help young people entering the hospitality industry and those looking to develop their career.
