HIT Scotland hosts record fundraiser

The most successful fundraiser in the history of the Scottish Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT Scotland) was held at Glasgow's Radisson SAS hotel last Friday (7 September) which saw more than £45,000 raised for the charity.

More than 400 people from the Scottish hospitality industry gathered at the Radisson to attend a charity lunch followed by afternoon entertainment from Jonathan Ross' in-house band four poofs and a piano as well as an evening set from XFM DJ Heather Suttie.

The event raised £46,450 for HIT Scotland and all monies raised will be used to help young people entering the hospitality industry and those looking to develop their career.

Full details on the range of scholarships and bursaries are available on www.hitscotland.org
