Trends & DataThe Bench: North-western hotel performance in May 2007(13 September 2007 11:36)Hotels in the North-west of England increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 2.9% during the month of May. Revpar was £55.97 in May 2007, compared with £54.41 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench. Occupancy dropped by 1.3 percentage points to 75.4% but was counterbalanced by a 4.7% increase in average room rate to £74.25, compared with £70.94 in May 2006.
