The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 9 September, 2007
London hotels increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 6.9% in the week ending 9 September, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £129.41, up from £121.02 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy fell by 1.1 percentage points to 88.3% while average room rate grew by 8.3% to £146.54, compared with £135.28 in the corresponding week of 2006.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
