Hunters Lodge Inn, a community pub in the South Hams village of Cornworthy in Devon, has changed hands.

The rural inn near the River Dart, is a focal point of the 300-strong community and appears in the Good Beer Guide.

It's L-shaped trading area – which features low, blackened beams and inglenook fireplaces with open log fire – can seat 50 customers while outside there are more tables and chairs, a small patio, and a garden with six picnic tables.

It also provides two-bedroom accommodation for new owners Andy and Bridgette Evans, who previously ran the Royal Oak at Exminster and a restaurant in Camborne, Cornwall.

The Evans have made a deal with Andy’s cousin to supply the pub with local beef from their farm in Widecombe in the Moor.
