Trends & DataThe Bench: North-eastern hotel performance in May 2007(20 September 2007 12:04)Hotels in the North-east of England increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 3.5% during the month of May. Revpar was £53.53 in May 2007, compared with £51.71 in the corresponding month of 2006, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench. Occupancy dropped marginally by 0.9 percentage points to 75.9% while average room rate increased by 4.7% to £70.49, compared with £67.33 in May 2006.
