Revpar grows by 9% at London hotels

London hotels increased revenue per available room (revpar) by 9.1% in the week ending 16 September, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar increased to £137.49, up from £126 during the equivalent week of 2006.

Occupancy fell by 2.4 percentage points to 88.1% while average room rate grew by 12.1% to £156.03, compared with £139.22 in the corresponding week of 2006.
