North Yorkshire inn changes hands(10 October 2007 15:37)The Royal Oak Inn, a Grade II-listed property in the Yorkshire village of Gillamoor, has changed hands. The four-star country inn dates back to the 17th century and is located on the southern edge of the North Yorks Moors National Park. The village of Gillamoor is known for its ‘Surprise View’ which provides a panoramic vista of nearby Farndale and its famous springtime daffodil walk. The Leeds office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off a guide price of £525,000 to Holf Leisure on behalf of the McGill family. Article continues below
