Solihull restaurateurs buy Coventry hotel

The three-star detached property sits on the busy A452 between Coventry and Solihull and is near Birmingham Airport, the NEC, Warwick Castle, and Stratford-upon-Avon as well as the M6, M40 and M42 motorways.

Along with 23 en-suite bedrooms, the hotel incorporates the 60-seat, one-rosette Isobels restaurant, a bar and lounge, a large car park, and three-bedroom owners' accommodation.

It has planning permission to extend the restaurant and to add six more bedrooms.

The Birmingham office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off an asking price of £1.55m while Christie Finance provided funds for the purchasers.
