Compass Group’s Facilities Management Catering (FMC) arm has retained its £10m annual turnover contract to provide hospitality catering at Chelsea Football Club.

Although Chelsea ditched manager Jose Mourinho in September, it has kept faith with FMC, extending the existing arrangement by three years.

The caterer runs all match and non-match day hospitality at the 41,000 seater stadium in south-west London including catering in the ground’s hospitality suites and executive boxes.

As part of the deal, FMC will also manage the club’s 50 bars and kiosks.

Chris Morris, managing director of sport at Compass described the site as a flagship contract within its portfolio of football stadiums. 

“We are delighted to be continuing our successful partnership with the Premiership club, and pleased that it has, once again, chosen our culinary expertise,” he said.

In July FMC won a three-year contract extension to its £4m yearly turnover deal at Southampton Football Club.
