Knorr National Chef of the Year competition open for entries
Entries for the Knorr National Chef of the Year 2008 competition are now being sought with a first prize of £10,000 on offer.
Those wishing to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner, Eyck Zimmer of the Lowery hotel in Manchester, need to submit their entries by 31 December 2007.
Now in its 19th year the competition will culminate in a final at next year's Restaurant Show on 7 October 2008.
The competition is run by the Craft Guild of Chefs in partnership with Knorr and is open to all working chefs over the age of 21.
Past winners include Gordon Ramsay, Steve Love and Mark Sargeant.
