London purchaser for Pewsey pub(09 November 2007 16:20)Simon McGuire from London has bought the Seven Stars, a thatched country pub in Bottlesford, Wiltshire. The pub attracted 15 viewings in the first two weeks, leading to competitive bidding. Located in the Vale of Pewsey between Marlbourgh Downs and Salisbury Plain, the Seven Stars was built as a pub with its own brew house in the 16th century. It occupies 5.25 acres of land which embraces a stream, woodland, a lake, a rear paddock and a field with consent to park four touring caravans.
