Premier Inn opens 500th property

Premier Inn, the UK's largest hotel company, yesterday opened its 500th property, in Bournemouth.

The 98-bedroom hotel, 15 minutes away from the seafront in the coastal town, was unveiled by Premier Inn managing director Patrick Dempsey and marketing director Gerard Tempest.

Dempsey was this week involved in discussions with the British Hospitality Association over potentially setting up a Budget Hotels Committee at the industry body.
