Vacherin picks up two London contracts worth £500,000

Contract caterer Vacherin has won two prestigious London contracts worth more than £500,000 in turnover a year in combination.

Vacherin, formed in 2002 by Mark Philpott and Clive Hetherington, has signed deals with property agents Cushman & Wakefield and law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse.

The deals mark the firm's 16th and 17th contracts in a productive year that has seen the caterer add seven City clients. Turnover for the full year is now forecast at £5.5m.

Vacherin will provide fine-dining services to Cushman's West End and City offices as well as looking after central meeting space "the Hub".

At Field's Tower Hill site Vacherin is providing hospitality services, partners' dining and running regular staff events. Both companies previously ran their catering in-house.

Philpott said: "Both companies have a passion for excellent food and service for their partners and senior teams. They were impressed by the personal level of focus and support that we provide to every contract, and turned on by the innovations we want to bring to the service."
