Cuilcheanna Guest House, a rural property in Onich that overlooks Loch Linnhe, has been bought by Kirstie and Mary Black from North Yorkshire as their first foray into hospitality.

The building, which has its origins in the 1600s but is primarily late Victorian/early Edwardian, is just off the A83 Glasgow to Inverness road to the north of Ballachulish and within easy reach of Fort William.
 
The two-storey stone property provides eight en-suite bedrooms, a 14-seat dining room, a guest lounge, and en-suite, double-bedroom accommodation for the owners.

The Edinburgh office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £475,000 on behalf of Russell and Linda Scott.
