Local publicans buy Tavistock café(16 November 2007 10:41)Former publicans Graeme and Karen Sim are the new owners of the East Gate Café and Brasserie in Tavistock, which lies in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park. The busy all-day, all-year business occupies the ground floor of a character building just off the main street that overlooks the River Tavy. It can accommodate more than 70 diners inside, with seating for another 45 on the riverside patio terrace outside. The Sims, who used to run the Peter Tavy Inn, plan to refurbish the premises and extend the evening trade. Source: CatererSearch |
