The two-star Caerwylan hotel in the Victorian seaside town of Criccieth, Gwynedd, has been sold to Nick Gillham from Cockermouth in Cumbria.
 
Criccieth is located on the shores of Snowdonia on the Lleyn Peninsula.

Caerwylan is the only hotel on the promenade of the resort, which sits on the shores of Snowdonia on the Lleyn Peninsula. The hotel commands views of the 700-year-old castle and of Cardigan Bay.

Although the hotel caters mainly for private trade, it is large enough to take on the coach trade with 25 en-suite bedrooms to sleep 47 guests.

The end-of-terrace property also provides a 50-seat restaurant with a bay window and a resident’s lounge with a separate bar area.
