Caterer Chester Boyd takes on Little Ship Club

Charlton House division Chester Boyd has added London sailing club the Little Ship Club to its roster of clients.

The event caterer has taken on the £450,000 annual turnover contract at the club's river-side venue off Upper Thames Street in the City of London.

Previously run by In House Catering, Chester Boyd's six staff will look after the members' bar and restaurant as well as providing conference and hospitality services.

Charles Boyd, chief executive of Chester Boyd, said: "The Little Ship Club is one of the City's most distinguished dining venues. Our reputation for maximising revenue for clients through the marketing of our venues contributed to our new client's decision to appoint us."

Charlton House has just landed a £15m deal with the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
