Latest NewsTop chefs challenge Fuller's at the London Marathon(31 January 2008 11:28)Eight top chefs are uniting to compete against at team from brewer Fuller’s in this year’s Flora London Marathon on Sunday 13 April. Michelin-starred chefs Michel Roux Jnr – a veteran of nine marathons - and Anton Edelmann are among the team, who are attempting to achieve a faster average time than the team from Fuller’s and raise more money for their chosen charities. The other chefs competing are: Jerome Ponchelle, from The Wiltons; Robert Clayton, from Merchant Inns; Jean Luc Hoez, from Coq d’Argent; the Wheatsheaf Inn’s Paul Robinson; Christophe Gueraud, formerly of Michelin starred restaurant L’Escargot and Unilever Foodsolutions’ Shane O’Connor. Fuller’s is represented by Tony Johnson, Michelle Beaumont, Michael White, David Spencer, Andy Bowen, Dale Huxstable, Neil Bellingham, Colin Osbourne, Alan Creswell, John Walker, Lisa Rafferty and Leona Hearne.
