ISS UK has added front-of-house services provider Arena21 to its Integrated Services Division (ISD).

Arena21 provides reception, switchboard and meeting room management services and was founded eight years ago by a team with a five-star hotel background.

ISS UK’s ISD is already home to business and industry caterer ISS Eaton and the addition of Arena21 is designed to enhance the group’s ability to provide clients with a full facility management (FM) service.

Andrew Price, managing director of ISD, said: “This is an important acquisition for ISS in the UK as office support represents one of the core pillars of our facilities services business.”

FM has become increasingly important to traditional caterers tendering for major multi-site contracts. Compass and Sodexo have both been attempting to grow market share in the FM market.
