London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 6.2% in the week ending 10 February, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar climbed to £103.12, up from £97.11 during the equivalent week of 2007.

Occupancy increased by 0.8 percentage points to 75.6% while average room rate increased by 5.1% to £136.48 compared with £129.91 in the corresponding week of 2007.

The Bench - which is partnered with US firm Smith Travel Research - provides online benchmarking data for in excess of 34,000 hotels in more than 400 markets.
