TV chef Keith Floyd was divorced by his fourth wife Tess in a “quickie” two minute hearing at the High Court yesterday because his “abusive” and unreasonable behaviour has left her “stressed and depressed.”

The flamboyant chef famous for slurping his wine while running through his recipes on screen separated from 42-year-old Tess last August.

And in court papers food stylist Tess said they had not lived together since they parted.

In reply to questions whether his behaviour had affected her health she wrote that his “behaviour has made me stressed and depressed.”

Asked if his behaviour was continuing she replied: “Yes – the respondent (Keith) continues to be abusive towards me when we meet.”

In reply Keith said he had no intention of defending the petition but objected to paying the legal costs because “it is stated that the petitioner’s mother is paying”.
