ISS Eaton wins £4m contract with HP UK

(03 April 2008 11:30)

ISS Eaton has landed its second major catering contract in as many months with a deal to feed UK staff for Hewlett-Packard (HP), the world's largest PC manufacturer, Caterer can reveal.

The business and industry caterer will feed staff at sites including HP's labs in Bristol, its headquarters at Amen Corner in Bracknell, Berkshire, and its London office on Wood Street.

The contract, previously run by Compass Group's Eurest division, is believed to be worth at least £4m in annual turnover, with some estimates putting the figure as high as £10m.

The deal has been struck as part of a global multibillon-dollar deal signed by parent company ISS Group to provide cleaning, catering and facilities management services to HP in 41 countries and at more than 200 sites.

The latest contract announcement comes after ISS Mediclean, the group's healthcare division, announced a major multi-site London hospital deal worth more than £100m in turnover over the life of the contract.

The facilities management contract will see ISS Mediclean provide an extensive range of services in west London at Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte & Chelsea and Charing Cross hospitals.

In February ISS Eaton won a contract with mobile phone operator O2, a deal worth £19m over a five-year term.
