This year, the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Awards, or Cateys, reach a milestone.

On 8 July we'll celebrate 25 years of recognising and applauding the best of British hospitality at a gala awards dinner at the Grosvenor House hotel on London's Park Lane.

To mark the Cateys' 25th birthday, we are introducing a one-off award, the Silver Catey, to recognise the individual who has done most to drive forward the UK hospitality industry in the past quarter-century.

Now we need your help to create a shortlist, which Caterersearch users will vote for and a panel of judges will asses.

Who, in your opinion, has had the greatest impact on UK hospitality in the past 25 years?

There are no set criteria for the Silver Award. Simply look through the Catey Academy online at www.caterersearch.com/silver-catey  and let us know who you think is the industry's outstanding individual from the past 25 years.

Everyone who votes in the Silver Catey award category will automatically be entered in a draw to win a pair of tickets to join us at the Cateys on 8 July at the Grosvenor House.
