Hyatt International signs recruitment support deal to help fill job vacancies

Hotel group Hyatt International has turned to a third party recruiter in a bid to bolster recruitment of new managers to cope with its expansion plans.

Hyatt has signed a deal with Switzerland's Hospitality Graduate Recruitment (HGR), which will allow Hyatt's HR staff around the world unlimited access to the firm's jobseeker database for the next year.

The HGR database also has the facility to allow Hyatt staff to place adverts for specific job roles as it looks to recruit graduates and undergraduates for a variety of positions.

Hyatt International's vice-president of human resources, Kate Carter, said attracting and retaining talent was a "key strategic issue" in order to cope with the group's anticipated growth.

She said "As part of our global recruitment efforts the partnership with HGR will assist us in identifying talent for both our entry and junior management level positions."
