Chicago Rib Shack continues to disappoint London's food critics

The recently resurrected Chicago Rib Shack continues to disappoint London's food critics, with the Evening Standard's David Sexton describing its menu as "astonishingly gross".

After Jan Moir recently slammed the food at the Knightsbridge-based restaurant as "filthy", Sexton has now labelled it as "tasteless and disagreeably greasy", advising diners not to swallow.

Meanwhile, Alan Yau's latest venture Cha Cha Moon has potential but some way to go, according to Charmaine Mok, who writes for Time Out.

The Metro's Marina O'Loughlin finds that Mark Hix's direction at the Albemarle has improved things at the Brown's Hotel restaurant yet resulted in a "corker of a menu, so chauvinistically Brit, it should have a shaved head and flag-flying white van".
