Fresh British potatoes are used to make Greenvale division Vale's Fresh chips and prepared potatoes.

The chips are made with locally grown Maris Piper potatoes and supplied in 10kg packs with a shelf life of 10 days.

They are cut into a classic British chunky chip and can be fried in six minutes to deliver a chip that's crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.

The prepared range includes whole and diced potatoes using fit-for-purpose potato varieties suitable for boiling or roasting. They are supplied in 4kg catering packs or boxes containing five packs each weighing 2kg.

The parcooked potatoes, which have a 28-day shelf life, can be finished off by boiling, steaming or roasting. The whole potatoes are graded to a maximum diameter of 45mm.
