PolarStrip thermal curtains that fit in the doorway of coldrooms to prevent loss of  temperature are designed to replace old-fashioned PVC strips that get dirty, are irritating to walk through and are easily ripped down.

The UK-made strips (which are each 300m wide, 8mm thick and 1.2kg in weight) are softer and lighter to prevent staff injury, more thermally efficient to reduce the wear and tear on refrigeration systems, and more robust than their predecessors to provide a longer life.

They are made with a single central seam to provide softer edges that will not split, while  the stable, rigid insulate (a silver-backed double air bubble) will retain its shape and insulation properties and not drop inside the nylon-backed thermostatic outer skin.

Each strip contains vision panels to prevent accidents and injuries to staff from roll cages. The curtain strips are easy to install and maintain, and hang on a simplified track system that prevents staff from removing the strips. They will cover unlimited widths.
