Your take-away salads can now come dressed in fully green packaging with the launch of WK Thomas's leak-proof kraft salad boxes.

The 100% biodegradable boxes are made from 400-micron recycled kraft board with a liquid- and grease-resistant biodegradable dispersion coating that prevents salad dressings oozing out.

The window patch is made from PLA (polylactic acid), which is a polymer derived from starchy foods such as corn or beetroot.
The boxes are available in two sizes: 144mm x 137mm x 51mm (packed 350 to the case) and the larger 187mm x 143mm x 49mm boxes, which come in packs of 300.

They can be printed with the customer's brand, with a minimum print run of 25,000 per size.
