Marco to open sixth Frankie's at Chelsea FC stadium

Marco Pierre White and Frankie Dettori are set to open their sixth Frankie's Bar & Grill at Chelsea Football Club's Stamford Bridge stadium in time for the new season in August.

The restaurant, which takes over the site of the existing Blues Bar, will be the first in the chain to carry a sports theme and will be branded Frankie's Sports Bar and Grill.

White, the first British chef to be awarded three Michelin stars, and jockey Dettori are promising a "family-friendly eatery and bar where customers can watch sport and enjoy value for money".

The Frankie's will be White's second eatery within Stamford Bridge, having opened the fine-dining Marco restaurant last year.

Frankie's currently operates in London's Piccadilly, Chiswick, Knightsbridge and Putney as well as a concession within department store Selfridges.
