Compass Group renews multi-million pound deal with Abbey

Compass Group has renewed its catering deal with high-street bank Abbey in a five-year deal worth £21.5m in total turnover.

Euest, Compass Group's business and industry division, will feed 11,000 Abbey employees at 11 sites across the UK.

This includes the bank's head offices in London's Triton Square and Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Eurest has catered for Abbey for 26 years and will be rolling out its Steamplicity steamed meal concept across the estate after a successful trial in the bank's Milton Keynes office.

All mainland locations will have a Costa coffee offer either as part of the restaurant or within an onsite Amigo convenience store.

Graham Sims, managing director of business and industry at Compass, said: "We are delighted to be continuing our long standing relationship with Abbey."

Compass Group announced earlier this month that its leisure caterer Leith's had won a decade long deal at Hever Castle in Kent worth £15m over the full-term.
