Jamie Oliver recruiting staff for new Jamie's Italian sites
Jamie Oliver is now recruiting restaurant staff for his forthcoming Jamie's Italian eateries in Bath and Kingston, which will open this autumn.
The first Jamie's Italian launched in Oxford earlier this month, with the restaurants in Bath in October and in Kingston in November set to follow.
Jamie's Italians in Brighton and Cambridge will follow in early 2009.
Oliver is looking for restaurant managers, kitchen and front-of-house staff, and applicants can apply via the Jamie's Italian website.
Caterersearch revealed Jamie Oliver's plans last autumn. The fledgling chain is Oliver's first owned restaurant venture as Fifteen, which he helped to create, is owned and run by the Fifteen Foundation charity.
Jamie's Italian serves classic Italian food inspired by the dishes in Oliver's cookery books with affordable pricing and a neighbourhood restaurant feel.
As many as 20 outlets are planned in the next five years, although Oliver has said the idea is to create a restaurant collection rather than a chain.
"It's all about bringing my food to the public and offering them the best value for money they can get," Oliver said.
