Lindley Catering Limited becomes Lindley Group

Stadia caterer Lindley Catering Limited has become Lindley Group and launched three new food service divisions.

Lindley, which bought chef Paul Heathcote's Heathcotes Outside business in 2006, has launched Lindley Stadia, Lindley Dining and Heathcotes Outside.

The company, which signed a £20m deal at Liverpool's Echo Arena at the start of the year, has also restyled its Lindley Group website and launched a standalone website for Heathcotes Outside.

Lindley Group's chief executive Alex McCrindle said: "Since Lindley Catering Limited was acquired by the management buy-in team in 2001, we've more than doubled the turnover of the business from £17.9m to more than £50m today."

"Clients are increasingly turning to us to help them ‘sweat their assets' outside their core business. As a result, a significant and increasing proportion of our revenue is now being realised through the development of mid-market and hospitality catering services. We wanted our company profile and business model to reflect these changes," he added.
