Buddha Bar to open in London
Buddha Bar, the iconic Paris-based restaurant and lounge bar, will open its London outlet on 24 July.
Located in a newly created space underneath Waterloo Bridge, Buddha Bar London will be spread over two floors comprising a range of private and semi private areas surrounding the main dining room.
Opulent interiors will feature amber coloured lighting, mahogany furniture and Japanese and Chinese statues set in a red and gold colour scheme. The menu will offer pan-Asian dishes including sushi, while an international wine list will be complimented by an extensive cocktail menu.
Founded by entrepreneur Raymond Visan, Buddha Bar London is the company's sixth site following launches in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Dubai and the latest venue in Kiev, Ukraine, which opened last week. A seventh site in Jakarta has also been earmarked.
