Contract caterer Charlton House retained by King's Fund

Contract caterer Charlton House has been retained by charitable foundation the King's Fund in London for another three years.

The three-year deal is worth £2.4m in turnover during the life of the contract and Charlton House will continue to manage a restaurant, café bar and provide conference and events catering for the charity.

Nick Prinsloo, Charlton House business development director, said: "After a tough tender process against some stiff competition, we were delighted that the King's Fund has chosen to stay with us."

"We are now working closely with our colleagues at Chester Boyd to help the King's Fund to expand the commercial aspect of the contract by marketing it as a highly attractive venue for conferences and other events to maximise revenue for the charity."

Charlton House chief executive Robyn Jones was one of the highest placed hospitality representatives in this week's City & Guilds Vocational Rich List.
